All of my shampoos and conditioners are tailored to your dogs skin type, coat and colour, including special shampoos for sensitive skin types. After the groom is complete your dog will be sprayed with a conditioning spray, leaving them smelling beautiful for days!

Groomingdales was founded in 2013 by Netty Hodson. Since the opening of Groomingdales it has remained to grow in popularity, mainly through recommendation; and is one of the most reputable dogs grooming parlours in Ormskirk. It has always been the aim of Groomingdales to bring a professional yet affordable grooming service to the Ormskirk area, placing the emphasis of the business on the care of our clients and their pets.

Reviewed before and have had to delete my last to review again :) absolutely amazing !! Minnie was taken in and treated like the princess she is ! I know how much Netty loves Minnie my rottie but I just want… people to know that today was so different ! After having Minnie booked in and knowing that we are great friends I was just expecting a clean Minnie with her nails done etc ! Not even close ! She came out the best she has ever been ! So soft ! Her coat was unbelievable! I live in a pub and I brought her in and one of the customers that was stroking her asked where she had been groomed

My dog has been twice now for handstripping after being clipped quite a few times over a few years. We weren’t sure it would be possible to strip but Netty gave great advice over the phone & offered to see Ozzy so she could have a look at his coat to see what would be possible. He’s since been stripped twice now & looks great when he’s been for a visit. Netty seems great with him & you can tell how much she loves working with dogs. Wouldn’t think of taking him anywhere else from now on. Brilliant service

My dog Lola had to be sedated at the vets to be groomed, she was so anxious and frightened she bit all the groomers we tried, lots of them. A friend recommended Netty but I had my doubts anyone could handle her.
I picked her up and was so pleased she looked great and wasn’t stressed or anxious. Thank you Netty for spending all the time you did and being so patient with her. She is looking good and has a spring in her step tonight 😃😃😃😃

Cooper has been going to Netty since he was a puppy. I would not take him anywhere else. Netty and her team are amazing, they have a passion for dogs and they clearly love her and the team too. Always had 🐕's for the whole of our 53yrs of marriage and I can honestly say with hand on heart that Groomingdales is by far the best groomers we've ever had. It's not Just the excellent groom you give them Netty it's the pure love and devotion you and your girls pour into them too. Your setup yesterday was amazing.... so easy and simple. Most amazing place ever, after taking my amazing rotty too different groomers after such a bad experience at pets at home no where is able to cut her nails. However groomingdales managed without me even asking them to do her nails ! I left her their in an amazing safe environment and she came back smelling gorgeous and looking amazing ! It’s only when I got home and realised her nails had been clipped I was shocked ! I called Netty and asked who had cut her nails ! To find out one of her amazing staff had cut them all !!! Now to me I couldn’t work this out as I had been doing them one at a

Lucky for me - Netty is my sister. I have two very large Caucasian Ovcharka's - Baxter and cooper. Baxter is a guard dog and is very aggressive towards strangers. Netty finally agreed to groom him for me (with a muzzle). Netty's calm manner and confidence along with respect for Baxter immediately made him back down. No growls, no stress, I walked away happy with big hairy dog that now was clean, smelling gorgeous and a lovely smooth coat
