Nic has been training dogs for over18yrs. He has worked with the Association of Pet Dog Trainers has accredited membership to the Kennel Club through breeding Labrador Retrievers. He is also qualified to train dog owners on The Kennel Club, Good Citizens Dog Scheme at Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold standards.
He has worked with the Combined Office of Applied pet Ethology COAPE and has a degree in canine psychology. Pippins Pet Supplies holds weekly puppy socialization classes to give your puppy the best start in life. Fiona has been around animals of all types from a very early age. She has always had a keen interest and love of animals and enjoys spending time with her many pets and sharing her knowledge with others.

Here at Pippins Puppy School, we believe in training by positive reinforcement where only kind methods of training are used. We don't believe in using any adverse training techniques, such as choke chains, noise rattles, water sprays or harsh physical contact. We aim to provide just a kind, friendly, happy environment, which is an ideal place to begin training your new puppy.
Fiona and Nic have a passion to care for animals of all types. PPH was founded 5yrs ago and since, have amassed over forty animals in need of a new start to their lives. All of the animals come to stay on an indefinite basis as most have a history of abuse and neglect and are in need of specialist care.
Founded in 2000, Fiona has taken in a great number of various parrots for many different reasons. One of the most common reason being owners not realising just how long many of these parrots can live in captivity. Parrots of all shapes and sizes have a very high level of intelligence. Some say they can have the intelligence of a two or three year old human child, which for a bird is pretty impressive.

Absolutely rubbish. Total waste of time going from Newton Abbot to Teignmouth. They used to have lots of stock but now nothing. They can ‘order it online and have it delivered to your door’ but I can do that myself and probably cheaper too!!! I don’t know why they bother to open a shop, they might as well just have an online shop. The girl is rude too. She thinks she is the font of all knowledge and treats customers with contempt. I’ll never bother going again.
