Services
Whatever your driving experience so far, our courses are all one to one in-car tuition. They cover every aspect of driving, to enable you to pass the practical test and become a safe, confident driver. We arrange everything for you - convenient pick up, theory test, practical test. We use dual controlled cars and all instructors are DSA registered and certified.
Pat is the newest member of the busy GSI team, and brings a wealth of knowledge, professional experience and friendly attitude with her, contributing perfectly to our already popular instructors. She lives locally in the Guilford area and has a love of horses/riding and dogs. She became a DSA approved driving instructor in 2007, but before becoming an ADI, worked in accounts.
Pepi's passion for engineering and all things mechanical was jump started by his apprenticeship at British Aerospace which then led to a career with British Airways working on jumbo jets. When the opportunity arose for Pepi to move into the automobile industry he seized the chance. And who wouldn't, as the opening was in Formula One!
I have worked with the royal mail organization for 17 years. I also have been participating in the union election and had been appointed as union representative within the royal mail organization. I am very passionate and enthusiastic to teach people driving, very much committed for every day challenges to achieve my goals, which is being the reason for most of my pupil are successful to pass the driving test at their 1st attempt.
Just wanted to again say thank you so so so much! I'm still in such an emotional shock and I wouldn't of been able to do it without you and your consistent mirror checks! It means so so much to me how much you helped me and guided me, you're so great at what you do and you shouldn't ever give it up because your techniques and reassuring comments are so warming!

I strongly recommend Rakesh (auto) as your instructor! He was very professional, funny and had a genuine passion to make sure all his pupils passed to a high standard! He puts your nerves at ease and goes above and beyond to help you in any way he can! Was extremely flexible with changing dates and times for me. Lessons were fun and engaging. Passed my Test first time today with 6 minors, thanks to his incredible teaching which is straight to the point and easy to learn. I can't thank Rakesh enough for all his help and support ! Wouldn't have been able to do it without him! Highly recommend Rakesh

I had David as my driving instructor and I passed first time with one minor fault! I had about 26 hours of lessons with him and he would always ask me at the beginning of a lesson what I wanted to cover rather than just following a script which I found really helpful. Whenever I got a maneover wrong he would help me correct it and not just move on and ignore it. Would definitely recommend GSI!

Had David as my instructor and had 18 hours of driving with him, worth every penny spent and is very competent to teach young drivers efficiently and successfully. Passed my driving test first time due to his teaching and learnt a lot of tricks to implement into the exam taught by him. Would extremely recommend using this driving school and especially having David as your instructor as he loves to have a laugh and also teach you the fundamentals to pass your test first time!

Rakesh delivered way above and beyond our expectations of a driving instructor. From start to finish he was professional, friendly and incredibly passionate about his job. He genuinely cared about our son and took personal pride in his progress. We had little doubt that it would be a first time pass and were not disappointed. I would not hesitate to recommend Rakesh to anyone. He bent over backwards to ensure our son was prepared mentally for the test, as well as having covered all the necessary technical areas.This is a first class professional and an excellent example to his profession!

I had some refresher lessons with Rakesh after moving to the UK from abroad and was very satisfied. He was always patient and explained everything clearly. It was exactly what I was looking for with my lessons.
Also another thing I appreciated was that at some point he said he thought I was confident (but not too confident of course ;)) enough to go out on my own (instead of maintaining that I needed lots more lessons). That time coincided with when I felt I was ready too. So that was good.
