Totally professional, a lovely personality and someone that you would feel comfortable sitting next to for a 2 hour driving lesson! As a parent of a teenage learner driver, Phil always keeps you up to date with progress via email's so you know what to practise at home. Communication is his strong point and my daughter passed very quickly under his tuition.

Having held a driving licence for 35 years I enlisted Phil to help me iron out my bad habits for an advanced driving test. Phil was very patient and quite clearly knows all there is to know about Instructing drivers from beginners to those at a more experienced level. Thanks to Phil my bad habits were highlighted and I passed first time, i would certainly recommend that you make Phil your first port of call.

Phil really is a great instructor. I highly doubt any other driving instructor would have been quite so understanding as he was. He worked around me and my busy life even if this did mean doing my lessons before my school even started! Being taught by Phil was always amusing whilst after every lesson I actually felt I had improved - I looked forward to every lesson. My thanks again, Phil. Oli

From the first lesson Phil made me feel comfortable with driving because he was so friendly and patient. He explained everything so that it was easy to understand and always stayed calm, even if I made mistakes. He has taught me how to drive safely, and also how to enjoy driving. I can't fault him, would recommend him to anyone.

Phil is a great driving instructor who explains things in a clear and to the point manner. He is very patient - his relaxed approach helped me feel at ease practically from the first lesson. Phil has been extremely reliable in terms of scheduling and is also a great help outside of lessons answering questions and offering help via email. I would certainly recommend Phil to anyone who is looking for an Instructor!

I needed some refresher lessons after 9 years of no driving since passing...Phil helped me to re-gain confidence quickly and feel relaxed. I was able to build on my skills with coaching and handouts and end up confident even on the motorway! A calm and effective instructor with a lovely personality, highly recommended.

Phil is a really patient and understanding instructor with loads of great advice not only for passing your test but also helping you become a really confident and safe driver. Phil was recommended by several of my friends and they were spot on - he is a very patient and successful driving instructor. Starting from scratch, he taught me how to drive and gave me confidence on the road. The final accolade is that he was genuinely pleased when I passed my test. Although its taken me since October to learn to drive, Phil has always been very patient and helpful throughout the whole learning process. He is very good at explaining where you went wrong and how to change it but also at telling you when you have done well which makes you feel more confident when driving. I will definitely be recommending him to family and friends!
