Chris & I are both animal loving people who will genuinely care about your furry friends and you can rest assure that they will be given lots of attention and love during their stay with us. With over 20 years experience of animal health and behaviour we feel we are able to offer you a very professional service.

If you would like to come and meet us prior to booking your pet in then please let us know and we will be happy to show you around our facilities and introduce you to our own pets. We have seventeen rabbits, two guinea pigs and four degu ourselves.

Animal Care Report

Following several cases of VHD2 in Gloucestershire there has been a lot of concern about this very serious disease of bunnies. As per the RWAF rabbit experts our advice is that all rabbits be vaccinated annually for this disease and only those in high risk situations should consider twice annual vaccinations (ie lots of wild rabbit contact, bunny hotels etc).

Booking Report

If you wish to cancel your holiday booking at all, we would require at least one weeks' notice. This gives us a chance to re-book the accommodation. Any cancellation with less than one weeks' notice will lose the deposit. We are introducing a minimum stay of 4 days boarding, so as we can accommodate everyone's needs.

We would like to say a huge thank you to both Sharon & Chris who cared for our very poorly bunny (Willow) who was suffering with EC. She has made a good recovery, no more head tilt & has put on weight. They also gave medication to our other bunny to prevent him being infected. Nothing was too much trouble, trips to the vet for check ups & vaccinations. Lots of updates given on their progress & also advice given to help us. We would highly recommend Blackberry Boarding.

First time we used Blackberry Boarding was during the really hot weather and I’ll definitely be using them again. Sharron and Chris are very down to earth and, if you’re as bunny mad as most bunny parents are,… then you will feel straight at home here. It’s not just business it’s a way of life. The buns settled as soon as we dropped them off, I had regular updates on how they were doing as well as photos that I could find on the page. When we picked them up they had a genuine strop about coming home. Like how dare we say their holiday is over. Anyway 10/10 for this

This was the first time we'd left our bunnies Alfie & Casper, and spent a lot of time looking at places for them to stay. we couldn't of asked for anywhere better than blackberry boarding. Nothing was too much trouble. Alfie had recently lost his partner, Bella, by the time we came back Sharon had manage to bond A&C!! Came back to 2 very happy bunnies.
