Like so many other reviews on this site we have been disappointed with Tingdean after sales devices. We have been in our home for over 12 months now and still haven't received the correct internal doors , they have been changed once but the engineer who fitted them agreed that they were of such poor quality they needed reordering, this was 6 months ago . We still don't have a door over the dryer in the kitchen because the hinges broke a month after moving in and the engineer was sent out with the wrong one as a replacement so for 11 months there as not been a door on it. Horrendous after sales. Once they have received your money they have no interest in outstanding issues. Fitted incorrect kitchen, curtains/blinds, furniture always discontinued once chosen ( even third choice still not received), boiler missing part so have empty lodge sat in site with no heating or access yet, dampness through ridge. Was advised delivery end July/August and unlikely to get access until December. No staff have authority to approve work, always referred to director who is constantly on annual leave. STAY CLEAR- cost us an absolute fortune for what was supposed to be the start of

My park home, a Hayden Classic was purchased from Tingdene Ltd 3 years ago and as existing reviews from other home owners, my home is also suffering from paint/rendering/bubbling problems. Which has been reported via emails to the Customer Care team at Tingdene on numerous occasions over a 4 week period. Their replies are just attempts to 'mug' me off telling me to contact my Platinum Seal warranty knowing full well that the problem is not a structural defect, also by passing the blame for the problems/faults onto me as the home owner. This is obviously an ongoing problem with Tingdene park homes

Having now owned our Tingdene park home for six years it has to be the worst move me and my wife have ever made. We have spent an absolute fortune on this wooden shed, from outside walls blistering because the rain gets in and now we’re having to replace five of the windows three of which are bays because the hinges are rotten. The floors squeak from one end to the other. Because of the rain getting in we are having the lodge fully wrapped to insulate it and solve the problem, the list goes on so if you’re looking to buy a park home then please choose another make.

Rendering on the building begins to bubble, Tingdene agree to send out an engineer.
Diagnosis report - Brick base is out of tolerance (too close to building) - NOT TOUCHING but too close. Causing the rendering to bubble near the guttering. i know, How!? So they leave, agreeing if i removed it and rebuilt they would address the issue. Not expecting me to have the works done, i contacted them again and they agreed to send the team down to redo the whole rendering!! 5 days minimum works

We have a Tingdene Barnwell purchased April 2018, we started the process of purchasing a bespoke design by visiting Tingdenes Head office in November 2019. The sales team were really helpful while we chose which floorings and fabrics and decoration we required. The house was sited in March and we moved in beginning of April 2018, there were a few snagging issues that were all resolved, within a few weeks. A couple of other issues arose during the 1st year and although not resolved straight away they were eventually with a bit of keeping on at Customer Services. I made sure we used email so I could

I purchased a hayden classic home just about 4 years ago, my next door neighbour also has a home from them, a month ago the poor lady next door informed me that her back wall had delamination and was soaking water like a sponge, Tingdene didn't want to know, even though home was only four years old, imagine my horror, when only a month later, in exactly the same place my home is also bubbling up and holding water. Seems a huge coincidence that both homes have exactly the same fault, I'm waiting to hear back, but have already consulted legal advice. Would not reccomend them at all, I'm hoping I

Do not buy from Tingdene. Happy to take your money but quality of product is not like there rivals. You would think after 70 years they should know what they are doing. As a park owner we bought one for our self in the view to buy more and open up a new relationship with another manufacturer. Never had so many issues with workmanship and customer service from any other manufacturers. Avoid Tingdene at all cost.

We moved into our new home, a Barnwell, in February 2019 having waited for nearly a year to move in. We had heard the rumours relating to the “poor” customer service once you had purchased and moved into your new home. That has not been our experience so far. If you have ever moved into a new build home within the last twenty years you will appreciate the extensive snagging list that comes with it and the difficulty in getting much of the work done!!
