Ferintosh offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Dumfries. The Guest House is a very attractive red sandstone Victorian building resting peacefully in a quiet residential part of the historic and beautiful town of Dumfries, Scotland. Ferintosh is opposite Dumfries Railway Station and a 5 minute walk from the town centre. There is ample parking nearby.

Warm, clean, comfortable, and stylishly furnished, you get much more for your money at Ferintosh Guest House; in addition to our outstanding breakfast selection there are face cloths, huge thick bath towels, cloth napkins, personal safes for guests' valuables, tea/coffee making facilities (including decaf herbal, & hot chocolate), biscuits, hairdryers, cotton buds, cotton balls, makeup remover pads, shampoo, conditioner, shower soap, corkscrew, TV, alarm clock/radio, and an iron and ironing board are available.

During Breakfast, in our bright and sunny Dining Room, you will find luxurious linen napkins, top quality cutlery, and full size mugs for your coffee or tea. Our breakfast menu is largely locally sourced and includes choices for those with specialty diets. Scottish Porridge served however you like it: with salt, brown sugar, honey, butter, milk or even a shot of whisky on top!
Ferintosh is the perfect base to ride the 7stanes; Scotland's fantastic award winning mountain biking tracks. We are only 5 minutes from Mabie Forest, 20 minutes from Ae Forest and Dalbeattie, and all seven of the trails are less than an hour and a half away. We also provide the location of the local cycle and walking / hiking shops, should a guest need to repair a tyre or buy some new kit!

Just had a fantastic stay at the Ferintosh! The building is very beautiful, and the rooms feel homely and have character. Got a great night sleep very comfortable beds, lots of tea, coffee and biscuits provided, great toiletries provided and a lovely breakfast. The owner is very friendly and polite and the prices are very reasonable. Can't fault it at all! Would definitely stay again

Have stayed before with my dog. Very hospitable hosts, lovely breakfasts, everything done to make stay comfortable, even with dog who has anxiety, and this trip when i was very late. Highly reccomnended

Robert Burns dedicated b&b. Staff are very friendly and food is lovely. Dog friendly however limited parking.
