Treasure Montessori nursery and pre-school provides a unique cycle of learning. This is designed to take advantage of the child's sensitive years. Treasure, as the name implies, is an exceptional and unique environment for children to thrive, be motivated, stimulated and nurtured. Treasure cares for and guides children to grow into independent, confident, caring adults. Maria Montessori was the first woman to qualify as a medical doctor in Italy. Born in 1870, her scientific background underlies the design of the Montessori materials. Her approach to education focuses on children's innate desire to learn and their eagerness and capacity to do so when provided with the right environment and appropriate materials under the guidance of an observant caring and respectful teacher.
Staff at Treasure Montessori all all hold relevant qualifications and are dedicated to the Montessori philosophy. I was so fortunate to discover the Montessori method in 1997 when my daughter attended a Montessori school. Aside from her really enjoying it, we saw the great benefits it gave her including confidence, inquisitiveness, concentration and attention to detail.
Life at Treasure provides a calm, peaceful setting where we set and achieve milestones in these early years' development stages. We educate and care for children within a nurturing, safe, environment with a wide range of materials to enable each child to progress based on the principles of Montessori and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
An important foundation of our approach is providing children with choice, and enabling them to explore and practice using all the senses under the guidance of a trained Montessori practitioner. This method motivates children and promotes confidence, concentration and orderliness. The innate qualities of self-discipline, co-operation, awareness and self respect are further refined.

My son Riyan has been at Treasure Montessori since Dec 2018 from the age of 10 months.
The nursery provides a safe learning environment where Riyan has grown to be a confident and independent toddler.
He is well looked after by all the teachers and has a good relationship with them and I am very happy with Riyan attending Treasure Montessori.

The team at Treasure Montessori Nursery & Preschool have been amazing, they have gone above and beyond to help me and my partner get over the initial first weeks of our toddler joining. Kept us updated with how he has been settling in. Although he is just about to complete his first month, we have seen a massive improvement in his picking up of… words along with his overall confidence. As I’ve said this is his 4th week now of 2days a week and he now doesn’t want to leave rather than not wanting to go in!! All in all an amazing experience so far and being a smaller nursery

My nephew started here a couple of years ago and was soon removed. He struggled to settle, his key worker was never there in his settling in days, so he saw someone different every time. As a nursery worker myself it is so important that the key worker is there in those early weeks to help settle a new child and begin to build a positive… relationship with both them and their parents. The manager wasn't there when looking around the nursery initially, but came across very rude during the first pick up.

Both my sons attended Treasure Montessori from the age of 9 months, and attended full-time the entire time until they started school. The youngest will start Reception class from September and I couldn’t be happier with their time at Treasure and the skills they have provided my boys.
Treasure follows the EYFS learning so provides the children… with a solid learning foundation to start their school years. The nursery provided a safe learning environment for my children and one where they would be treated with care, respect and allow them to develop into confident young boys.

The staff at Treasure is well trained and very warm. My son Azaan formed a lovely relationship with his Key person and always spoke highly of all members of staff. He formed some amazing friendships over the course of 2 years. And his interest in books and numbers have vastly increased. He has become confident and more independent now. I highly recommend Treasure Montessori!

We sent both our daughters to Treasure Montessori. In total we were there for nearly 5 years. Throughout this time we saw the nursery grow and evolve into what it is today. The staff took good care of our children and we always felt safe leaving them. Our children were treated as individuals and not as numbers. Treasure Montessori is a small… establishment compared to other nurseries and what we most liked was the amount of time dedicated to each child and the interaction between staff and children. Our daughters learnt basic life skills and learnt how to read their first letters and numbers
