We are located between Lichfield and Tamworth not too far Hopwas Woods. We operate on a 1 to 1 basis with the dogs that visit us for grooming. Our salon philosophy is that we should treat people as you expect to be treated yourself. We believe if you act with integrity, fairness and loyalty and are reliable and are consistent in these traits we will be a happier people.
So this is the approach we take with all of our clients and their pets. It doesn't cost to be nice or to treat people and animals with respect. We take our time to discuss what our clients want and expect of us and give the dog an enjoyable experience! Your dog will receive a 5 point mini health check then move to have a warm relaxing hydrobath.

I'm going to talk about grooming your dog at home between visits to the salon and lay down the advice I give in the salon to our clients. Grooming at the salon and home is a vital part of a dog's wellbeing. It really helps with bonding, keeping the coat in tip-top condition and to spot if your dog has picked up an injury or developed an illness.
Further to the announcement from Boris Johnson on Saturday I have looking at how the salon will be affected and whether or not I should stay open. These are my thoughts. Grooming your dog starts with a good regime at home. A weekly brush through and health check will do wonders for your bonding and will make the grooming experience with us more pleasurable for your dog. The condition that we receive your dog in will reflect in the overall price. We are here to give free advice on how to brush and check over your dog.

3-year-old Doodles rehomed with us just a day before the lockdown started. We were told that he had previously had a bad experience with grooming which had left him 'difficult' ever since . . . He was certainly very anxious when we arrived at Tail Waggers. We left him in Katie's care but fully expected a call to say that he was being so reactive that grooming was impossible.
Instead, 3 hours later, we collected a happy relaxed dog - groomed exacly as my wife had requested - and which looked (and smelt) pristine!
Doodles will certainly be going back to Tail Waggers and I cannot recommend them

Service was outstanding, thank you to David for being amazing with my pom, he has such a gentle nature and what stuck out for me, Tail Waggers are so passionate not just about grooming but the welfare and empathy for animals. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Strongly recommend and cannot wait to see you guys soon. Also the grooming, attention to detail and the products used are spot on. What I also thought was a lovely touch is that David kept in touch with updates and photos of her grooming session via text. Very friendly staff, very good prices, plus they show how much they love dogs. My dogs looked amazing when David had finished with them. It's the groomers I'll be using from now on. 10 out of 10 for every aspect of there grooming. David even made me a cup of tea while I waited. But was told straight to my face if the dog's play up with me being there they would ask me to wait in the car. Fantastic place Fantastic people thank you David and Katy.

Such a great Grooming salon, my dog absolutely loves going there and they always do an amazing job with him! Particularly with him being a large dog a lot of other groomers have been very difficult about me bringing him to them but David has always welcomed us in from the very first time, even though Kodo leaves his Salon covered in hair afterwards! Best groomer in this area by far!
