We played the Dunes first and it is a very tough course and very similar to Royal St Georges next door. The first , into the wind, was one of the most daunting tee shots i have played. The fairways are narrow and if you miss them you are doomed as thick rough/long grass awaits. The par 3s are long but are scorable. The rough is pretty tough to get out of if you do manage to find a stray ball. The Dunes and Himalayas are both the same, very punishing but enjoyable. It's a stunning course and very well looked after. I'd advise getting a course guide from the Clubhouse before you play, they're complimentary. We played
