Woodland Learning sessions, Expressive Dance class, extended hours, breakfast and after school clubs which include drop off and pick up to our local schools, holiday clubs, hot meals, 2 year funding, 30 hour funding and so much more! My little boy is so well looked after at Prebend and loves all the staff there.
The activities are so stimulating especially the woodland learning sessions which are just out of this world. A really welcoming setting, with caring, long standing staff who have the children at heart. Would definitely recommend! Services
Through positive relationships we seek to help all children reach their individual potential in all areas of development and learning. We operate an inclusive practice and do not discriminate against anyone regardless of their gender, ethnicity, disability or special needs. Prebend Pre-school started in 1976 moving to our current premises some 25 years ago!
The staff and committee at Prebend Pre-school are thrilled announce we now offer extended hours, the pre-school opens at 7:30am until 5:30pm. Breakfast and after school clubs are open to children aged 2 to 7 along with flexible holiday clubs. Afternoon sessions including "Munchkins" lunch club can be included in your 15 hours of funding if eligible.
Prebend Pre-school has always held fundraising events to pay for new toys and equipment. This extra funding helps us to continue to provide a high quality service for all our children. Fees and nursery education funding are mostly used up paying for our ongoing daily overheads so everything else needs to be paid for out of fundraising.

A wonderful pre-school where the children receive attentive one-to-one care, with a real emphasis on emotional development. The staff have decades of experience, as mothers not just as carers, so they understand both the child and the parent’s points of view. They see each child as an individual and are never too busy to nurture and play. If you’re looking for a Southwell Pre-school - this is the place to go!
