Spent 3 nights here recently and while it was a solid 3 star experience it was by no means 5 stars. Beautiful location, extremely quiet and comfortable beds. The breakfasts were very good, generous and lots of options. Waitress/cook was punctual and very attentive to our needs. However, the carpets were old and tired, tea making facilities in the room were poor and the TV miniscule. A little updating would be good and the whole building had a distinct unpleasant smell (perhaps due to the owners large dog?). All in all not good value for the money. You could probably get a higher quality place in

I can't imagine B&B can get much better than this!
Reaching Landseer House by the long, narrow hedge-lined lane adds to it's sense of drama when you turn in to the large gravel parking area. The owners are extremely friendly and interesting (without being overbearing). The entire upstairs is turned over to the accomodation, with Room 1 being larger (and Room 2 having equally as pleasant bathroom separately across the hall, just so you are aware). Breakfast is served in a lovely extension overlooking the marvelous garden, and perfects a quality over quantity approach to drinks, buffet and cooked
