Services
ACT have a wealth of knowledge and experience in all types sheet metal and powder coating. Based in Kent we are ideally placed with fantastic transport links to the rest of the UK and Europe. With good quality machinery and skilled staff, there isn't much we can't produce. We work from your cad drawings or design and draw on your behalf from a sketch or a simple idea.
We simply love making things in metal and helping to perfect your ideas and designs, to make them the best there is. We have supplied literally hundreds of thousands of enclosures over the years. From external street cabs (like BT & Virgin Media), to wall boxes (for electrical, CATV, CCTV) and internal data racks (for offices, data centres etc).
This enclosure is suitable for electrical, telecoms, CATV and many other uses. This is one of many we manufacture here in the UK for a range of customers requirements. If you have different requirements and this unit does not meet them, then please get in contact and we will be happy to provide a more appropriate unit.
London Underground Limited wanted to offer passengers 3G connectivity along one of its lines, in stations and travelling on tube trains. To achieve this, infrastructure including fibre optic cable and junction cabinets needed to be sited along tracks within tunnels. The enclosures had to pass test RIA 20 part 2, a vibration test designed for the bogies on trains, not 2mm stainless steel enclosures.
Do you have valuable assets that you need to enclose and protect either externally (e.g. in the street) or within a building? Current provider not able to deliver product in a timely manner or is struggling with quality issues? Dealing with a non-UK manufacturer is difficult or perhaps not as cost effective as you thought?
