Vale View is a busy competition centre based in the heart of Leicestershire. Run by an experienced and friendly team, led by owners Julie and Mark Hyslop, Vale View is one of the leadings equestrian centres in the UK with a superb range of facilities, both Indoors & Outdoors.

The venues hosts an array of Events, Qualifiers & Championships throughout the year including British Dressage, Team & My Quest, British Show Jumping, Arena Eventing and Trailblazers Unaffiliated Dressage & Jumping along with a comprehensive Training diary, with a selection of both resident and visiting trainers.Our events and arenas can be booked online via our secure booking system.
Services
Vale View is set in 200 acres of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside, and was established in 2004 by Mark and Julie Hyslop. It has developed over the years into the centre of excellence it now is. Vale View host both affiliated and unaffiliated competitions inc Showjumping, Dressage, combined training as well as the ever popular Arena Eventing.
Julie owns Vale View Equestrian with husband Mark. She trained at Talland with Pammy Hutton for 3 valuable years; she has 40 years of experience in horse care and just as important, customer care. She regularly rode as part of the hugely successful Fosse Manor team-chase team, evented and has successfully ridden in the Melton and Harborough Cross Country Ride 14 times.
During the summer months this arena will be home to our British Showjumping, Unaffiliated and Clear Round Jumping, allowing us to offer affiliated classes up to 1.40m. All of our jumps are FEI Standard so you know you are jumping the best! These competitions are all held indoors in the winter months in our International Arena.
The newest addition to Vale View is our Lakeside Arena, a purpose built all weather cross country schooling facility. The landscaped arena which is 8,000m2 features drops, ditches of varying sizes, an extensive water complex which boasts both sloped entry and steps of varying heights. The arena itself was designed by International course designer Angus Smales and built by Equestrian Surfaces using their fabulous Soundtrack surface.
The ultimate challenge for the grassroots competitor our 3 day event follows the FEI long format with Dressage held on the Friday, Cross Country on Saturday and Show Jumping in reverse order of merit which ensures to bring a thrilling conclusion on Sunday. Stabling is also available for the duration as well as evening entertainment and demonstrations.
