Welcome to Little Garendon Equestrian & Bespoke Leather Workshop, based near Shepshed in Leicestershire. Privately owned by John and Margaret Pitts and run by daughter Rachael Fairbrother along with long standing family friend Cherise Greasley, Little Garendon is a professional competition and training yard for both horse and rider.
Being a small, select yard, Little Garendon can provide individual care and attention that often is not available in bigger yards. In recent years Rachael has trained in traditional leather work and Little Garendon now offers tack and rug repairs as well as Rachael's bespoke leather work items such as bags, purses, key rings along with dog collars & leads.

Services
At Little Garendon we are a small yard and we only ever take on the amount of horses we feel we can give individual attention to. We take a lot of pride in maintaining high standards and are confident that we offer the ideal combination of facilities, standards, care and commitment to suit every horse.
Darcy - 17yr 16.1hh Skewbald mare, we bought Darcy after she came to us for some schooling and to sell after been sold to the wrong people and had become very tense and worried, she needed a lot work but right from the start we liked her so after a couple of weeks we made an offer and Darcy became a permanent member of the team.
Having done anything to avoid sewing at school I surprised myself as well as a lot of friends by really enjoying the rug mending side of the business, especially when it is raining outside! As i do all the repairs on site I can offer a quick and efficient service. I can guarantee same day or over night service for almost any repairs.
Producing and bringing on horses is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding aspects about working with horses. It gives me a real buzz everytime a young or inexperienced horse understands and achieves something new, or a more experienced horse improves its way of going, helping itself and giving its owner more confidence to improve further.
Come to any competitions the horses are competing at, which are held in amazing locations such as Belton House, Rockingham Castle, Chatsworth House just to mention a few. Come to the lorry park and meet up with us for some refreshments and the low down on how the horses have gone. I will give regular updates on the horses and let you know which competitions are coming up by either text or e mail.
