Originally in Fydell Street, and now in an imposing Georgian property on Threadneedle street, The Osteopathic Clinic is an established clinic that has been providing the community of Boston and surrounding areas with effective relief from pain, for many years. Tim was inspired to become an Osteopath by the successful treatment his Dad received from their local Osteopath.
He began his studies at The British School of Osteopathy in 1988, graduating 4 years later with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Osteopathy. After working at a busy practice in Newbury, Tim moved to Lincolnshire in 1994. There he joined The Osteopathic Clinic at Sleaford and Boston, begun by Mr. James Law, before taking over the clinics in 1998.

Services
NICE (the National Institute of Clinical Excellence), who produce guidelines for the medical profession, recommend manipulative therapies including osteopathy, for the treatment of low back pain. An osteopath will investigate the causative and maintaining factors for the pain, as well as any further effects it may be having on the body, such as leg pain with of sciatica, or headaches in the case of neck pain.
Osteopaths use their hands to carry out treatment using a variety of treatment methods according to the age and problem of each individual. These methods range from the cranial approach to the total body adjustment used to help people of all shapes and sizes with all types of interesting presentations other than back pain!
The first consultation will last up to 40 minutes to allow for the case history, examination and any appropriate treatment. Follow on treatment sessions will take 25 minutes. We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash and cheques (accompanied by a cheque guarantee card). Please do try to give your osteopath at least 24 hours' notice of any change in the agreed appointment time.
For appointments and general enquiries please telephone reception on 01205 311786. If the line is busy please leave a message and someone will call you back as soon as possible. I have been going to see Tim for 7/8 years. He is very professional and excellent at his job , his enthusiasm for new techniques he has learnt is fantastic to see and can only instil confidence in customers to know he does his best to help each individual that he treats.
During this pandemic Tim has put excellent safety measures in place to keep all safe at all times. I highly recommend Tim.
