Stayed at this site for a night as a stop over. Nice basic site with decent play area for the kids.
There seemed to be only one bin that was over flowing with rubbish which was an issue. The next day the bin was taken away and we couldn't find a replacement. Also where we pitched there was an awful smell from the toilet block. (Probably our fault for being too close)

Generally we really enjoyed our stay , its a lovely site , well set out . The showers and toilets were always kept clean . I loved the robotic lawnmowers trundling around . There were a few downsides , the place needs more bins and definitely a
recycling centre . I noticed coffee cups and sweet wrappers and also broken glass left on the floor probably because people cant be bothered walking to the bins. The amount of
dogs running around off lead was ridiculous even though there are signs to keep your dog
on a lead , this is mostly due to the people that seem to have permanent pitches and are

Really disappointed. The shepherds hut we stayed would've been great if the heater actually heated the room. The smart tv was a smart tv as advertised but you couldnt use it due to the lack of wi fi or reception. As for the no noise after 10.30pm?? Well, the group opposite us were blasting music, shouting and had their disco lights going way past that. Now I'm all up for a party whilst on holiday but come on, have a bit of respect for other families. As for facilities, the showers were fine. There was a sign on the door telling the gents we all had to use the porta loo due to covid. Not the best

Stayed in lovely shepherds hut, everything clean and lovely quiet location by the fishing pond. Fire pit included and picnic table bench, microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster, take your own bedding, towels, plates and cutlery/crockery.
Showers and toilets clean, which is important. Big play area for kids of varying ages and quiet time starts 10:30pm.
Great location for days out to the river and Cockerham and Wallings

Lovely place with good sized pitches for both caravans and tents alike. Family atmosphere and the facilities are well maintained and clean. Working farm but definitely ruin fire the kids to play and explore a little without any issues. Highly recommended whether you're travelling any distance or like us and only 1/2 hour away.
