Lazy Daisies is a South Manchester based picture framing company. We specialize in high quality custom made picture framing, and offer a service to Professional Photographers, Galleries and Artists. We have our own retail art gallery with a selection of original art, limited editions and open edition prints, with probably the most creative framing service in South Manchester.
Conservation framing uses materials and techniques that have been proven to protect and maintain the artwork in its original condition. This means that any work done to the item should be reversible. Paper can also be discoloured by acid, water damage and pollution even when it is framed. So it is important that the framing materials used are both acid-free and protect the print from the outside elements.
We offer a professional wholesale framing service for photographers. Our service helps ensure that their work is protected and presented well. If your photos are in a drawer somewhere because your client hasn't got round to getting them framed, then it's less likely that you'll get repeat work because they have been showing them off to their friends and recommending you.
We hold a varied selection of original art, prints on canvas, Gicle prints, and limited edition prints. But if you don't want a framed item then you can look through our large collection which can then be framed here if you wanted to. We also have an online art catalogue that allows you to look at the framed prints we have in store from the comfort of your own home.
Lazy Daisies gift cards are great presents no matter the occasion. They can be used on just about anything instore from framed prints to printing and framing items. The gift card is sent to you securely in the mail and has dedication lines on it to allow you to personalise it to the person it is for.

I would also like to mention that the turn around time usually exceeds expectations too.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough! They are super friendly and the framing service is incredible!! The owner and his daughter were both super helpful, chatty, and knowledgeable. I was absolutely delighted with the final product - and the service in general. Will definitely use this place every time I need something framing.

Though I leave 1 star, this is not about the quality of their framing, they offer high quality bespoke framing, I would say the best I’ve ever used. My rating is to reflect the negative experiences I have encountered on more than one occasion now, despite supporting this local business for over 30 years. I am passionate about supporting local businesses, particularly after the impact that COVID-19 has had on small businesses. I am an artist, and on occasion, use their services which are very good indeed, but not always delivered with a smile, in fact quite the opposite.

I can not recommend this shop enough!
I took my husbands football shirt in to design a Father’s Day present from our twin girls who sadly both passed away, so he now plays football in their memory, I wanted to… create something that celebrated the football match where he scored in the 13th minute and they won the game.
They suggested using a photo as well as the shirt and badge!
When I collected it I was so overwhelmed at how amazing it is! My husband adores it!
Thank you beyond words for helping create and immortalise this memory for him and us

Was finally able to get a Christmas present framed recently and came across Lazy Daisies by chance - I'll never go anywhere else now! Katrina was so excited about the print and incredibly enthusiastic in making sure I got something I loved. It's really obvious that she's very skilled and on top of that, she's incredibly passionate about her work. She was almost as excited as me when I came to pick it up!! Have used Lazy Daisies for over a year now for several pictures (limited prints behind glass and original pieces). It's always a pleasure taking something along to be framed and I enjoy myself immeasurably in the process of whittling down the options. Attentive, respectful, and creative staff. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

I've had several pictures framed here and they always does a high quality job. I have just given a Christmas present of a framed picture of my late Mum to my Dad and he loves it. The colours of the surround and the frame were chosen to match the colour of my Mum's jacket. It's perfect and brings the picture to life. It is now hung on the wall and looks wonderful. Thank you, again.

I have had at least eight prints framed at Lazy Daisies and they never disappoint. With an eye for detail they know how to bring out the best from the picture without the frame overpowering the print. Great… customer service. I only wish my photography skills (or lack of!) did better justice to their beautiful workmanship! Thanks Lazy Daisies!

Excellent service - the staff are friendly and full of helpful and creative ideas. They managed to make my very average needlework look almost professional, and I’m thrilled with the finished result. This is the first time I have used Lazy Daisies but I will certainly use their framing service again!
