Art Graphics
Established in 1974, our workshop offers everything from hand-finished wood tray frames, to aluminium box frames or acrylic box presentation cases. Talk with one of our framing experts for free, to receive advice on construction, colour and various product options. Your frame will be crafted using the latest machinery, such as CAD mount cutters and custom spray booths.

With a variety of finishes on wood and metal, you're guaranteed to get the look you are aiming for. We offer delivery through artwork couriers or we can personally deliver your finished pieces. You'll get answers in 24 business hours at the most, or within 3 business hours during our opening times.
Services
From designed & engineered frames to specialist finishes, acrylic boxes, canvases, printed panels and bespoke wallpaper. We can generate images and image series as required for projects. This is often used to achieve a specific visual for commercial projects. Your project can be enhanced with our graphic design, illustration, digital & photographic composites.
Everything is custom to your artwork, from the sizes and colours to finishes and hanging methods. Acrylic is naturally 70% UV resistant, 50% lighter than glass and incredibly tough to break, making it an ideal replacement to glass if preferred. Higher grade acrylic options include full UV resistance, anti-static or anti-reflective coatings.
When your artwork is displayed with museum quality box framing, you won't be the only one to notice. Works such as oil on canvas, books, tiles and textiles are often displayed using box frames. Original art on paper and limited edition prints are also frequently presented in a box frame, floated to demonstrate the full edge to edge glory.
The term "canvas frame" (also called a "floating frame") is used to refer to different types of framing. A tray frame (sometimes also called 'baguette frames' or 'glassless frames') can be used around the finished canvas, which is unglazed. A shadow gap is often left between the inside edge of the frame and the side of the canvas.
An acrylic box frame (also called a Perspex box frame) is an enclosure used to display and protect a 3d object or artwork with depth, like a canvas. It becomes a box when there are at least 2 faces of acrylic joined together. Creating custom, highly quality acrylic boxes does not simply mean using a 6 sided plastic box.

We had an oversize canvas which had been painted for us and wanted a simple frame for it. Worked with Jake Ault who was very helpful and knew exactly what was needed (I didn’t!). Love the end result and would recommend Art Graphics without hesitation.

Having recently moved house we needed to re appraise out painting collection. My wife and I had to decide which paintings should be kept, which re-framed and then finally the best position where they should be hung.
The task was made much more enjoyable by having the Art Graphics Team take control. They pointed out which watercolour paintings needed to be re-framed in acid free mounts and museum quality anti reflective glass. Oil paintings in some cases needed frames strengthening and fraying string cords for hanging replaced with wire. In the past our paintings had hung rather too high but Simon
