Since 2009, we have been casting solid bronze sculpture in British foundries and delivering it to galleries and collectors worldwide. We are proud to say that every piece is hand cast using the traditional lost wax process and takes at least two weeks to make. We do NOT cast anything in resin. Every bronze sculpture arrives beautifully boxed, ready for you to give as a delightful gift, or to enjoy opening yourself!
Services
Nelson and Forbes is managed by Deborah Foster, the daughter of a portrait sculptor. When the company started in 2009, her aim was to provide truly wonderful sculpture, handmade by British craftsmen using traditional techniques, at a fair price. She wanted to do this with the sort of customer service that we love to receive, but that seems to be getting harder to find by the day.
The Nelson & Forbes Studio Maquette Collection features the stunning editions of small sculptures by Jonathan Sanders and Sue Maclaurin, showcasing the artists' new interpretations of some of their best loved pieces in miniature. Jonathan Sanders and Sue Maclaurin both delighted discovering new aspects of their favourite subjects by working in this inspiring new way.
