We do what we believe an osteopath should do the following: treat patients professionally, educate our patients and help to prevent a wide range of problems from back pain and everyday aches, through to sports injuries and work-related ailments. At our Penarth osteopathic clinic, we use a holistic approach to treat the root of the pain and dysfunction, instead of just symptomatically.
Whether you are a weekend athlete or an elite performer, osteopathy has a lot to offer you. As osteopaths we are trained to look at both the injury and the body as a whole, particularly its biomechanics and the strains placed upon it. The lumbar spine pain is one of the most common causes for time off work and is experienced by most of the population at some time in their working career.

Cranial osteopathy has become a form of osteopathic treatment that encourages the release of stresses and the balancing of tension within the body. It is extremely gentle as a technique and is safe to use on all ages, from newborn babies to the elderly. It is not a different form of osteopathy, rather a different tool in our toolbox.

As osteopaths we are trained to look at both the injury and the body as a whole, particularly its biomechanics and the strains placed upon it. Rather than solely treating the presenting injury, we look at the reason why it occurred there helping to prevent injuries from recurring.
The team at Penarth Osteopathic Practice are here to help you with a range of osteopathic treatments. Osteopathy is a patient-centred system of healthcare which means that Osteopathy provides care that is respectful of and responsive to individual patient preferences, needs, and values, ensuring that patient values guide all clinical decisions.
Penarth Osteopathic Practice have received countless testimonials from our all our satisfied patients. My baby boy is doing fantastic, I am so happy that I brought him over to see you. The results are incredible! A week after the initial consultation, he's been transformed: rolling both ways, pulling himself up, twisting his head and torso effortlessly, nearly crawling etc.

Having suffered with my back for 16 years and had many chiropractic treatments, 6 months ago I thought i would try an Osteopath. Jon was great because not only did he sort out the problem but he also gave me exercises to do which have helped a lot. eg: this morning I awoke with a slight ache in my lower back, did the exercise and hey presto, the pain went away.

Fantastic service. I hurt my back moving furniture and the team at Penarth Osteopathic Practice couldn't have been better. They were quick to fit me in to see me (I was in a lot of pain) and Jon quickly found and cause of the issue and made it so much better. I would certainly recommend them to anyone with back pain issues. Keep up the good work guys
