Portmore Equestrian Centre
Chantal and Rafael Suarez would like to welcome you to Portmore Equestrian Centre. The first indoor arena at Portmore was launched in 2002 and since then new facilities have been added each year including internationally sized indoor and outdoor arenas. Chantal has competed across the United Kingdom in show jumping and is in charge of all competitions and schedules on a day to day basis at the centre.

Rafael is a talented international course designer who makes use of his specialised skills each week at Portmore, to the delight of many competitors. Rafael also travels to many championship venues throughout the UK and Ireland. His courses are designed to educate and test the skills of each horse and rider combination in keeping with their current level of ability.
Services
Portmore Equestrian Centre houses an international arena with a first class surface to match. The arena is 70m x 32m and has an Andrew Bowen Wax fibre surface as used in Northern Ireland's International Horse Show. Portmore is a family run business, however there are lots of other people in our team working very hard behind the scenes to make it the place it is today.
Portmore Equestrian Centre is a perfect setting for a variety of shows and exhibitions. With a premier indoor space consisting of 75m x 35m, a secondary hall of 50m x 25m, a raised platform, extensive parking and an onsite bar and restaurant, it is ideally suited to a variety of applications. In the past we have used the venue for agricultural exhibitions and even a beautiful winter wedding for our proprietors.
There are a number of advertising opportunities at Portmore Equestrian Centre. We hold competitions and championships at every level and offer class, show and arena advertising packages to suit a range of budgets. Arena advertising consists of arena side banner advertising, this is suitable for a wide range of sizes and can be priced accordingly.
Portmore Equestrian Centre was launched in 2002 by Seamus Kane recognising his daughters talent for show jumping and the lack of local equestrian facilities. The original indoor was 150ft x 200 ft and temporary stables can now be found where the original warm up area was located. In 2005 we began horse and pony auctions using the original indoor to showcase their abilities with the auctions taking place in the original warm up.
You can follow us on Twitter and Facebook. Our ID's are shown below and also feature on the right hand side of most pages within the website. During the larger shows, we will update our social media feeds with news of which classes have just finished so it's easier for competitors to know what stage we are at and when to arrive for the later classes.
