Magne Glaze
Magneglaze is the Original Double Magnet Secondary Glazing System devised by Richard Cutts in 1994. We add secondary glazing to most window types. Our speciality and expertise lies uniquely in the insulation of sash windows, whatever their age and condition. Even if they are out of square! The addition of the extra panel against the window frame creates a much wider gap than conventional double-glazing (typically only 20mm max).

The fat parcel of air trapped between the two panes acts as the insulant and the inner pane warms up. Cold air no longer drops down the window. Draughts are eliminated; the wide gap is good for noise reduction. From our inception in 1994 we have strived not only to deliver the best quality of product but also the best quality of service available in the sector.
Services
Magneglaze offers full aftersales attention for the ordering of parking strips and Vuplex Plastic Cleaner & Anti-Static Polish. Magneglaze is the ORIGINAL DOUBLE MAGNET SECONDARY GLAZING SYSTEM devised by Richard Cutts. This company has proudly supplied thousands of ready - made panels to customers throughout the UK for over 20 years.
The idea of using magnets for secondary glazing was adopted in 1994 by Richard Cutts for the purpose of providing a low-cost, easy install, but highly versatile system. Richard felt that by adapting and improving an existing DIY product (magnet to steel) with wider strips, and adding magnet to magnet applications, a wider range of window types could be tackled.
Magneglaze is the original and best secondary glazing system that works perfectly with sash windows. After 20 years and thousands of ready-made panels already shipped to customers throughout the UK, the product is still proven to be the best and most cost-efficient on the market. Simply measure your panels at home using one of our simple guides, order with confidence and install with no fuss.
It is advisable to remove these panels during the summer months and store away safely. Store in the original packaging in an upright position. Temperature in the cavity can rise to 50C which is not good for the Acrylic or the TESA adhesive. From time to time go around and free off panels that are permanently in position.
Panels can be easily lifted off and 'parked' on top of an adjacent panel, so you won't have a loose panel to worry about while the window is open. The addition of thin steel tape to the two vertical edges of an adjacent panel of the same width allows a panel covering a window that will be occasionally opened to be 'parked' on top of its neighbour.

I'm really glad I ordered a Magneglaze window. Richard was really helpful and called me to answer all my questions to make sure I had measured it right and even to clear up any mistakes I'd made when ordering. It arrived within a week and was really easy to install. You can't see it at all it's quite amazing and it is very easy to remove which will be perfect for when we finally get some heat in the UK. I would definitely use Magneglaze again if I move apartments and have single glazing again. I will recommend to friends too as I haven't stopped banging on about it to fellow Londoners in old conversions

Appalling customer service from a self proclaimed veteran professional of 20 years.
I placed an order with them in which I entered my email address wrong meaning their system couldn't process my order. Due to this I received 3 calls from the owner Richard Cutts. The first call was understanding as we tried to correct it and I apologized. The second and third less so. The second call was to inform me my email address still couldn't be processed. Initially we tried to resolve it but as the call progressed Richard got aggressive saying it was my fault, the first mistake was mine, the following mistake

I received my glazed panels in a well wrapped parcel. Theses were fitted to my Hall window which is a leaded light vertical window some 3.8 metres in height comprising four panels. The panels were fitted in accordance with supplied instructions. They have completely transformed the window. The sound levels from an ajacent "A" road have reduced significantly, and the whole hall area feels much warmer. We are well pleased with the system, and would not hesitate to recommend it
