Our school is a larger than average primary school nestled in the Pennine hills of the Colne Valley, close to Huddersfield.

Services
At Golcar J, I & N School, we offer all pupils a high quality History education. We strive to deliver engaging, and inspiring history lessons that motivate the pupils to increase their knowledge and understanding of the world. An excellent knowledge and understanding of people, events, and contexts from a range of historical periods and of historical concepts and processes.

This Statement has been drawn up in accordance with the Education and Inspections Act, 2006, and DfE guidance (Behaviour and Discipline in Schools, 2014).

The Pupil Premium is allocated to children from low-income families who are currently known to be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) in both mainstream and non-mainstream settings and children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months and children who come from Services families.
The Government has given every Primary School funding to develop Physical education and competitive sport. Give extra support in PE to our most talented children and include those with special needs in sport. Lastly, we are bringing PE and sports specialist teachers and coaches into work with and alongside class teachers in lessons.
