Unfortunately, as a developer they do a decent job of their properties. As a landlord/management company they are absolute sharks. Consistently ignore emails, phone calls and requests for help. Always increase service charge despite never offering decent service and then when work that is supposed to be carried out doesn't happen they go quite. Highly unrecommended. Oh, and as a family company, everyone is related to making a formal complaint is impossible when one guy is the others brother, cousin or whatever.

I have the had misfortune of buying a flat in one of the properties where they are the freeholder. I had contacted them to simply enquire where they manufactured the skirting for theire flats when the original development was done. Not only did they in no way, shape or form try to assist me to locate the original skirting but I was l lied to by Kamal as to what has happened to the company. Really a dispicable outfit from top to bottom! I am currently talking with the Property Ombudsman so hopefully they will get some comuppance.

Estate agents can't do whatever the like to.
They treated me with absolute unprofessionalism and I am actually shaken from their service. Their office administrator, Sejal, is the worse. She doesn't know how to talk to people and would even hang up the phone on you. I am renting one of their properties and I am paying rent on time - but they on the other hand are totally incompetent to even manage a place. No one from their firm is ready to take responsibility.
They are unethical, unfair, not reasonable and tremendously insincere.

Terrible organisation and group of people who only look out for themselves and do not care about the wellbeing of others. They will do anything to save money as they are a miserly company and avoid any extra work by passing the blame on to someone else. They are generally liars and make poor, illogical decisions, acting above the law. Do not buy their properties if you can avoid it. If I could give 0 stars I defintely would.

After reserving one of their new build flats I was told before we were due to exchange that they were in breach of planning conditions (no affordable housing) so we couldn't exchange. They delayed me for 5 months and made me incur a thousand pounds worth of cost for nothing. They are some of the dodgiest developers you can find.

I live in a flat serviced by the Westcombe Group and it has been a deeply unhappy experience. As I write, the lift is not working and has been in that condition for a week; contractors are working on a roof extension that was advertised to be finished in July and then September; the public spaces are badly maintained and dirty. Enquiries and complaints are dismissed by a front of house team that are habitually mendacious.
My advice is to avoid Westcombe at all costs.
