The Alverstone room is both spacious and luxurious with the added benefit widescreen TV, direct sea views and double doors to the large roof terrace overlooking Sandown Bay and Shanklin Beach.

The hotel is within 50 metres of the lift that takes you up to the centre of Shanklin, above the cliffs. The Esplanade Hotel is also close to the delightful Shanklin Chine and the picturesque Old Village. Further up the bay between Sandown and Yaverland is situated the Isle of Wight Zoo and the Dinosaur Museum.
Child Prices: Children are defined as being aged up to 14 years. Deposits: A non-returnable deposit equal to one nights accommodation per person per week or part week, for each person in the party, must be paid to confirm any booking. The balance of the account will fall due on arrival day. Any booking made within 2 weeks of the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
The Esplanade Hotel is a very popular destination for school groups, we currently cater for between 12 - 15 individual school groups during the year and we are now extending the booking season into September and October. The normal visit duration is 4 nights, Monday to Friday, but we are flexible for longer stays or weekends if required.
