Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Nathan Britton and I have been managing njb Events since 2008. The company (formally know as Hot Ice Discos) was founded by my uncle Tony way back in 1975. From a young age I have always been involved with music, sound and lighting, I think it must have been embedded within my DNA, hardly surprising since both my father and uncle had been successful DJs in their distant younger days.
We provide a full wedding service including DJs, Dance Floors, Love Letters, Sound Systems, Lighting and special effects. We cover Cardiff and South Wales. Every wedding is different so if you would like to discus your vision for your wedding day then please do not hesitate to contact us. There was a time when our wedding clients only booked us to entertain the guests during the evening reception.
Whether it's unobtrusive, subtle set-ups for intimate get togethers or the full nightclub sound and lighting experience, from Children's parties to Golden Wedding anniversaries what ever the reason for your celebrations we have the perfect package for you. We have years of experience and provide our mobile disco service to many venues across South Wales and beyond.
When it comes to the presentation we don't have a one size fits all mentality, usually equipment selection is based on the most appropriate for the type of event, age group and size of the venue. We also have to consider the time allocated for both room turn around and room access. The smallest package we offer takes 1 hour to setup and requires a minimum of 45 minutes to be dismantled and removed from the venue.
We hire Sound & Lighting equipment for Bands, Dance Groups, AMDRAMS and DJs. Hires are available on a Daily, Weekly or Monthly rate and include delivery and collection. Equipment can be hired together with our technical staff who will setup and if required maintain a presence and assist with operation during the event.
