Created in 1982 by a farmer and his dog, Pero was originally created in response to our own dogs' reluctance to eat any of the foods that were available in the 80's. Standards for pet food weren't what they are today, and we wanted to help make a change. From working dogs to lapdogs, from Great Danes to Yorkies, Pero has all their nutritional needs covered!

Easy to digest and highly palatable, turkey is a great source of protein, providing an abundance of essential amino acids to help support the growth and development of all cells. Contains much more fibre than the average potato, and is also a fantastic source of vitamin A, as well as rich in vitamins C, B6 and several minerals.

Found the high meat, gluten free dog food by chance whilst on holiday in Wales. Seemed to suit both our dogs digestive systems well. One in particular is prone to stomach upsets, but not with Pero (perfect stools) The kibbles suit all sizes of dogs too so no need for getting different packs to suit dog size.
I feel confident that they are getting all the nutrients they need. Liked it so much, I have placed an order online which was easy to do and delivered quickly. They even sent me some treats for free. I feel this will be the start of a long relationship with Pero.
