Cremations are now the most popular form of funeral. Most people will want a ceremony at the crematorium - using their chapel - but you can also hold the service in a church or other venue of your choice prior to the cremation. I just wanted to personally thank all the staff at Robert Nuttalls in Shaw, but particularly Yvonne, for all her kindness and professionalism at my brothers funeral recently.
Nothing was too much trouble from organising the funeral, to arranging visits, through to the procession itself, and even the music for the service, everything we wanted, and it was perfect, thank you.
I would strongly recommend Robert Nuttalls to anyone looking for guidance, compassion and very strong support throughout this whole process.

Yvonne and Deborah helped us through this very difficult time. They were very kind, warm and understanding and took all the weight off our shoulders. We had never done anything like this before but they made everything run so smoothly from first going to see them to the funeral at the crematorium. They were excellent.

On behalf of all our family I would like to say a very big thank to Yvonne and her colleagues for arranging my mum’s funeral. It was a difficult time with all the restrictions in June but Yvonne made us feel so supported from day one. Nothing was too much trouble, she was kind, friendly and compassionate throughout making sure my mum’s wishes were carried out as best we could. Our sister's funeral on the 2.6.2020 was a small quiet affair but magnificently presented.
The hearse was gleaming in the bright sun that day. Yvonne the funeral director and her colleague were both elegantly attired in funeral regalia which provided reverence and gravity to the occasion.
They had a busy schedule due to the increase of Covid19 deaths but managed to spend time with us afterwards which was much appreciated.
You would not be disappointed using Robert Nuttalls as your choice of funeral directors. Along with Deborah the funeral arranger, they are true professionals in a very sensitive

A sudden and unexpected death in the family had us all in a daze and when it came to arranging the funeral we didn't really know where to go or what to expect. We got in touch with Robert Nuttall's in Shaw and were looked after by Jan. From the first time we went to the funeral home up until we said our goodbye at the crematorium we experienced compassion and respect. The care and understanding shown throughout the whole process was absolutely excellent. From start to finish every detail was planned and executed in a very professional manner. The service booklet was superbly presented with help from Martin, who made sure that it was just what we wanted and it was all correct.
