Greasby Opticians, previously LM Daly Opticians is an independent opticians which continues to offer excellent quality eyecare and an extensive range of spectacle frames and contact lenses. Mrs. Lynn Daly served the community of Greasby, testing eyes for 27 years. Many of our patients have been attending from their childhood and now bring their own children.

Our Services Report

Here at Greasby Opticians we are offering many services in addition to what people would think is the standard role of the optician. All our optometrists have undertaken specialised training on a number of specific eye conditions. Our expertise in these areas supports the role of the hospital eye specialists and is funded by the NHS and Wirral PCT.

Technology new Report

We have invested in new technologies over this time in order that we can enhance your eye examination and will be delighted to talk you through these when you attend. Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) uses light wave technology to allow us to see beneath the surface of the retina and view layers in microscopic detail, in a similar way to seeing the separate layers of a cake.

We have worked hard to build relationships so that we can stock the frame types, styles and designer names that you want to wear, there's something for everyone. Contact Lenses Report

Contact lenses offer you freedom from spectacles and natural all-round vision, whether this be for everyday wear, sport or for social wear. Improvements to both lens materials and technology over the years now allow most patients to find a lens that corrects their vision and is comfortable, convenient and affordable.

I was having difficulty with an ingrown eye lash.
I rang the surgery and was fitted in between other appointments. Helena dealt with a very difficult little lash but got it out thank goodness!

I had severe pain in my left eye (whilst sitting watching the TV) and then half of that eye filled with blood. Greasby Optician saw me promptly and did a very thorough check on my eyes. I was reassured that it was a burst blood vessel and would clear in time. I have been going to this Optician for a few years now and find the optometrist excellent and have every confidence in her. The reception staff are also very helpful and pleasant.

I noticed a blister in my eye. The optician saw me within 24 hrs. I had a full eye check by an experienced and very competent optometrist who put my mind at rest that it was something that would go away in time and not affect my eyesight. So relieved and really grateful. Thanks Greasby Opticians.

Our family opticians at Greasby Opticians are just outstanding. Apart from their 'standard' service (which alone is great) they have gone over and above for us on plenty of ocassions, not least recently in the lockdown periods. We've been given every privilege by them and can't thank them enough for their help. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else and absolutely recommend them so, so highly. They're exactly the kind of small business who more than compete and exceed the boring offering of the bigger companies. Lovely team, wonderful business.
