Brought up in Chester, Dylan studied Optometry at City University in London. After gaining his degree, he completed the pre-registration year in practice at Price Wynne Opticians on the Wirral. He continued to work there and during that time gathered ideas as to how he wished for an optometric practice to run and progress.

Good vision is essential in childhood development and regular eye examinations are the key to good vision. Research has shown that one in five school children have an undetected eye problem. As 80% of a child's learning occurs visually, many children cannot see well enough to reach their full potential or enjoy everyday childhood activities as much as they could.
Ocular Coherence Tomography is an advanced eye scan for people of all ages. Similar to ultrasound, OCT uses light rather than sound waves to illustrate the different layers that make up the back of the eye. This particular 3D OCT unit captures a digital photograph of the surface of the eye at the same time and this can be cross referenced across any areas of concern.

. My previous optician had failed to flag up any problems and said that my vision hadn't changed but I was so concerned at my worsening sight that I decided to try Eyeworks.
I was so impressed with their service, the efficiency of the staff, the thoroughness of the optician,the caring attitude ......no big sales push........and thankfully a hospital referral followed which put my mind at ease. Thank you for everything , I will certainly recommend you to all my friends.

Very thorough. Great technology. Reasonably priced frames with the best range I have seen anywhere. The fitting and measured adjustments make the finished product perfect (and also makes a complete nonsense of trying to buy glasses from cheap internet sites.) I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

Really glad we chose this opticians for our toddler, from day one we were made to feel welcome and everything we wanted to know was explained perfectly. Waiting time is short and we always get notified by txt when prescription is ready. My son, being a toddler can be difficult but patience is always provided for a less stressful experience. Would definitely recommend!
