After visiting a hypnotherapist who put me back in control of my life when I felt I'd run out of options, & helped 'fix me' quicker than I ever could have hoped, I realised I wanted to be 'that person'. So I ditched my 'regular job' (architecture was never where I had wanted to be anyway), kept my passion going in what I was already enjoying (nutrition and sports science - only 'for fun' at that time), and did what it took to get me where I am now - I am proud to be The Control Freak.

The boring bit - Qualifications include DipHyp, DNLP GQHP GHReg (MHS), Also, for your peace of mind, I am bound to abide by the Code of Ethics of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.I'm doing what I love, with people who love the fact I can help them. People come to me when they are feeling like they have lost control in an area (or even all areas) of their life.

Its important when you start any kind of treatment, that you understand WHY it will work. My methods can involve combining Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) & Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) (both working with your conscious mind), with Clinical Hypnotherapy (working with your subconscious mind).
It seems almost cruel to say that I enjoy treating anxiety & stress the most, but the difference I can help people make in their lives, in such a short space of time, is probably why they are my most satisfying treatments, and also why so many people ask for my help with it. The word 'stress' describes the feelings you experience when the mental or physical demands made on you are bigger than your ability to cope with them.
Ever feel like you are just wandering down a never ending corridor, just doing the same things everyday just desperately trying to find a way out? I've purposely put habits, addictions & OCD's into the same category, as they are, in most cases, the same thing. You may come to me with a chocolate addiction, but are you addicted to chocolate or do you actually just have a habit of eating chocolate?
We all have times when we lack confidence and feel low about ourself, but when it is a long term issue it can have a harmful impact on our mental health, and relationships. Self-esteem is the opinion you have of yourself. When our self esteem is healthy, we tend to have a positive outlook on life, and are well equipped to deal with the challenges life throws at us.
Living with the pain, annoyance and/or embarrassment of certain conditions can be tiring, run you down, ruin your mood & self confidence, cause or increase anxiety and could eventually lead to depression or low self esteem. Whilst my treatment wont cure a lot of medical conditions, it can make life 'living with it' more enjoyable.
