Services
To Have & To Hire Events is a creative team offering venue styling and decor for your event. The team is headed up by our Director, Sara Ellis. Sara originally trained as a computer programmer and has successfully started two businesses with her husband. Sara decided the corporate world was not for her and therefore decided to go into a more creative industry.
We want to make your event amazing and bring your ideas to life. We understand that every client is different. Our event design service begins with an in-depth consultation to get to know you, your likes and dislikes, and your idea of your perfect event. You can arrange to visit our styling studio (wedding showroom), where you can sit down with us and discuss your ideas.
We have a bespoke styling studio & showroom enabling you to see all our stock in person. Our showroom allows you to see ceiling decor, includes a fully laid table with centrepieces allowing you to envisage what a centrepiece will look like at your event. It is truly an Aladdin's Cave for weddings & events.
A glimpse inside some of the stunning real life weddings we have had the pleasure of styling and/ or supplying prop hire for. We love styled shoots. They allow us a platform to truly show off the gorgeous products we stock, as well as our talented creative teams styling flare. We have been very fortunate to be involved in some fabulous events, brand photo shoots and other commercial projects.
Romantic flowers, a traditional glamorous bridal dress and a white horse all add some magic towards creating a fairy-tale wedding in the woods. Gatsby, classical, dramatic, glam, and edgy - steering away from the clichd overuse of this theme but celebrating the era in style. Hay bales, rustic tables, log slices, Tin baths, bunting, fairy lights and hanging lanterns are just a few items we have to help you achieve this style.

My husband and I used To Have and To Hire Events for our wedding decor on 12th December. Our wedding was postponed from 2020 and the To Have and To Hire Events team were very happy to help us when everything needed to be moved into 2021.
During our first visit to their showroom, we were made to feel very welcome and were guided through all available options and came away feeling very secure and happy with our choices.
Luckily, once the wedding arrived, they were able to set up the day before and the final result was absolutely stunning!!
I would definitely recommend them for future weddings

Sarah was brilliant in changing our date, our pick up/ drop off to delivery and item changes, then making up the differences in amounts and sending over new invoices promptly. Communication has been 10/10. I ordered umbrellas but the weather was kind to us and we didn’t need them for our November wedding! If I I hadn’t had ordered them of course it would have rained all day long! 😂 thank you guys!! X

The venue I got married in was beautiful but I wanted to add my own little flair to it and tohaveandtohire really brought that for me. It was difficult for me to picture exactly what i needed and where etc but they had great vision and made it just stunning. It could be difficult at times to keep in contact over email but to be honest I can completely appreciate it with them having to go out to weddings all the time to decorate! They were accommodating of requests and lovely to work with. I'd definitely work with them again in the future!! A bit pricey so a bit of a luxury for a wedding but no

We recently hired a neon sign for our wedding and To Have and To Hire were brilliant! Communication throughout was great and they helped to make postponing our date a smooth process. We opted for delivery and collection which was superb and in the time frame that we requested. The neon sign itself was so beautiful and a talking point for our guests. We would definitely recommend!

From festoon lights to the light-up rustic LOVE letters, the garden games to the table centre pieces - all looked lovely and really tied in with our autumnal theme. It was a great help knowing that we could get all our decor items from one place and have them set-up and collect - so thanks guys

We used TH&TH for our July 2021 wedding. They were great! Due to ever changing restrictions, we had to change our date and our guest numbers more than once. TH&TH took it in their stride and were able to provide everything we asked of them. On the day, the venue looked stunning. With the bride in prep, and groom offsite until an hour before, we only saw the finished product, which was a spectacularly decorated venue.

For our wedding day my husband and I really wanted to decorate the ceiling of our wedding venue with some fairy lights, to give it that magical feeling and that's exactly what To Have and To Hire created for us. We also hired their 'Happily Ever After' neon sign, which went down as a big hit for pictures with our guests. I was very impressed with their service and so happy we went with To Have and To Hire who really helped to bring our ideas to life.

Tohaveandtohire were fantastic. We found them last minute as we needed some decor to jazz up our marquee and they were extremely helpful in making suggestions and getting us something booked in at such short notice. We hired 3 wisteria chandeliers and a light canopy which bought the whole place to life.
The team were friendly and professional and on the day didn't leave until they knew we were happy with what they had done.
They have a great catalogue of bits to hire and all I can say is I wish we found them sooner!
