Wow. Brilliant staff. Fantastic surroundings and more important, outstanding food. I go in once a week for breakfast and I have never had anything but praise for everything at the Hive.
It’s made even better by the staff, with their service and always polite and happy. Well done to all.

I love this restaurant! The staff are lovely. The food is always prepared fresh and presented in an appetising way.

The Hive is 'our local' and we are regulars, sometimes once or twice a week.
The food is amazing and the atmosphere at week ends is incredable. The younger staff are always friendly and the senior ladies (I am so sorry I haven't any names) 'bend over backwards' to go the extra mile.
Unfortunately Monday to Friday The Manageress really let's the team down by her sullen attitude to customers and at times very rude attitude. It's such a shame because at week ends when she isn't present the place is completely different.
I love The Hive and have waited many years for such a place. I hate to complain

We had booked an afternoon tea and a family 'girlie' catchup.....afternoon teas were fabulous, staff friendly and welcoming, venue set in a lovely location.....would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back....thank you "the Hive"....

Good menu, service ok not brilliant, food good but if there busy expect it to arrive warm not hot, seems they can't handle a full house, but would go again just to see if it's improved.

We visited The Hive for the first time had a great breakfast. Very good ingredients and served piping hot. A little suggestion for The Hive maybe you could offer a smaller breakfast on your menu!!

The Hive provided catering for our daughter's christening. We were very impressed with the service we received and the food was excellent. We especially liked that the lunches were packaged into individual boxes for everyone which made it extra special. Everyone said how delicious the food was, especially the cakes and scones.

The food was excellent, also the staff were friendly & helpful, there was a very good choice of food and drinks on the menu, the hive was situated in lovely grounds, I would highly recommend a visit.

Despite our order not being processed when we went to collect, They were able to put together an amazing afternoon tea for 3 adults and a child and deliver to our home address, it was here within the hour and tasted delicious, would highly recommend and will be ordering again.

The Hive delivered the most amazing Afternoon Tea to my parents in Sandon today. They needed cheering up after months of Covid shielding. They were absolutely delighted. Sandwiches, scones, cream cakes 🧁!! Highly recommend this service. The Hive were super efficient & brilliant value. Treat your friends and family!

Not been before but would definitely go back reasonably priced and good food

Had a lovely social distanced outdoors breakfast. My mum and I can’t go inside anywhere due to existing illness and this was god send. Lovely food and people. Very helpful indeed. Definitely recommend x

What a hidden gem! Wide selection on the menu and lovely atmosphere. Staff are polite and friendly too. Can’t wait to sit outside in the summer overlooking the beautiful gardens!
