I took my aunt and sister here for a birthday brunch. Myself and my aunt arrived before my sister, who had bought her a box of cupcakes for her to share with her children later on in the day. We entered and waited to be seated. A member of staff took one look and without prior greeting immediately stated that she hoped we wouldn't be consuming… those inside. We assured her that of course we would not do such a thing and explained they were a birthday gift. When seated we ordered tea which was lovely. Once my sister arrived we ordered food and drink which was average at best. Upon leaving

Excellent choices, seasonal for Christmas. Served up promptly and very good quality. Reasonably priced. We will be back!

Disappointing cooked breakfasts. Sausages were very over cooked to the point of being burnt! Also a bacon and egg sandwich arrived as an egg Mayo and bacon sandwich with salad bits! Sadly, felt the need to complain and they adjusted the bill slightly and replaced the egg Mayo sandwich for the sandwich expected. Unfortunately, all a bit too late and gone off the idea completely. Surely they should be doing their own quality assurance and not relying on a customer having to complain? Won’t be going back, sorry!

Nice tea room. A little on the stuffy side when we went in. A bit pricey too. Drinks took ages to arrive. Personally I didn't like the food I felt it was a little over priced and who needs a secret ingredient for cheese on toast? Dry rocket with balsamic was not nice. I don't think the secret ingredient helped.

We do love this little cosy tea room. They have a wide variety of tea cakes, sandwiches and hot drinks, alongside the traditional afternoon tea and English breakfast. I'd go more often if they had at least one type of gluten free bread for toast or sandwiches.

Went with my mother for coffee and sandwich. There were two tables already occupied with people who seemed to at the end of their meal/drinks, however, the five members of staff seemed to be too busy chatting… to come and severe us. In the interest of fairness they did manage to show us to a table and give us menus. The final straw was when another table became occupied and the staff did come and serve them. We decided to leave and go to The Pantry, which I can highly recommend for food, drink and especially service.

I came here today for brunch and the food was shocking. I’ve never had the best experience here, but was willing to get it another try. We had to ask twice if we could order our food and when it finally arrived it was burnt, cold and rubbery - generally lacked any flavour, and the coffees were lukewarm. Staff apologised for the wait, but to be… fair, there was barely any customers to serve, but there appeared to be lot of staff. A complete waste of £30 plus. As a goodwill gesture we were presented with a scone each - but weirdly this all came at the same time as the breakfast

The staff were very helpful and friendly but my scrambled eggs were rubbery and obviously cooked in the microwave. Not a treat at all.

Super cute cafe - liked it instantly. Stayed for breakfast (they do vegetarian too even though it's not on the menu) and our breakfast was delicious, with very generous portions. Great range of teas, served properly in a teapot. Would highly recommend a visit.
