The rustic yet refined Abbeville lies at the heart of charming Abbeville Road in Clapham. It has just undergone a magnificent makeover to become a beautiful neighbourhood pub serving the best in British food. In winter, the open fire and cosy nooks provide a welcoming place to while away the evenings and in summer the front doors of the pub open out to provide a lovely setting for summer drinking and dining.
Food focuses on the best ingredients using small producers from across the British Isles. Our meat is from the highest quality suppliers. Our Sunday roasts are free-range, our fish is sustainably sourced and our vegan and vegetarian dishes could convince the staunchest of carnivores. Our drinks list is filled with local craft beers, artisan spirits and cracking cocktails as well as great wines at very reasonable prices.

Services
The Abbeville was bought by local boys Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox in 2002 and underwent a major refurbishment before re-opening in early 2003. Tom, Nick and Mark went on to set up Three Cheers Pub Co, which has grown to include nine pubs in London.
Aside from The Abbeville there is also The Avalon and The Stonhouse in Clapham, The Princess Victoria in Shepherd's Bush, The Bolingbroke and The Latchmere in Battersea, The Rosendale in Dulwich, The Bedford in Balham and The Tommyfield in Kennington.Their ethos has always been to do the simple things well, add a dash of flair and exceed expectations.

Whether you like to start the party early or go on late, we've got New Year's Eve sorted at The Abbeville. Kick off your celebrations at lunchtime with friends and family and enjoy spending what you've saved on a babysitter. Alternatively get together for a proper night out. We're open until 1am for lashings of cocktails, fine wine and decadent dining.
Shaken or stirred? Choose from our selection of classic cocktails, or try something a little less conventional. Enjoy our carefully chosen list of draught and craft beers, artisan and big brand spirits as well as a host of non-alcoholic options. Please also let us know if there are any children coming and if you require a high chair or booster seat or space for a pram.
We love sport, whether it's local or global. For those playing in local matches, The Abbeville is in a great position just off Clapham Common Southside for a post-match drink or two. For the rest of us more inclined to leave it to the professionals, we have Sky and BT Sport so are able to show all the big games in the main bar and have a big screen in the dining room for the major events.
The pub is as child friendly as possible (without alienating those more footloose and fancy-free!); we have highchairs, baby changing facilities, colouring in books and crayons, and our kids' menu is fast, fresh and great value. We can also serve small portions of any of our la carte dishes. Please also let us know if there are any children coming and if you require a high chair or booster seat or space for a pram.

Surprisingly as being one of the old locals since 2015 going to the Abbeville pub , out of sudden coming back to this place after 3 years being away and witnessing what the new manager did tonight i think her name. Was Amanda being in the pub and off her shift requesting the bar tenders not to serve one of the long lasting locals for a personal issue that happened 6 years ago in the avalon , well since the new management came in 4 years ago i think the owners would like to check the cameras of what have been going on after the closing or even before that loads of weeds rollings and other stuff

I went with the kids for breakfast with no reservation on a Sunday morning and we were seated quickly. The kids loved it! Food was nice and so was the service, decor lovely and authentic. Also pet friendly if you want to go with your dog. The only reason I gave it one star less is because the portion sizes were small, however I would definitely go back for a Sunday roast as the portion sizes for this looked huge when it was being served to other tables.
