Straightforward process to book survey and regularly updated and informed of actions. Excellent customer service with surveyor providing an immediate verbal summary of important findings. Full survey report received 2 days later - this was professional, easy to understand and comprehensive. This is the second time I have used this company and definitely recommend.

Did an original valuation for Help to Buy on June 2nd 2021. Went well, quite pricey at almost 300 quid. Due to unrelated issues, the 3 months expired and I hadn't sold, so needed to do a desktop valuation. Requested it on the 8th October, the original expired on the 2nd October. It was David who did Desktop valuation and he booked it for 9th November? I paid 150 quid extra for remote valuation!!!!!
At the time, I was unaware of the 2 weeks rule from Target Help To Buy, so my desktop valuation was completely invalid. Help to buy asked for a new valuation and mr David had the guts to ask me for

For what i paid (30% cheaper at least than smaller independent Surveyors) I was happy with the report i received. There was a wait for the survey to be completed, but the report arrived in two days after Survey, and Robin (Surveyor) called a day later to talk me through it, which was greatly appreciated.

I am a buyer and thankfully this has not affected my purchase, but both my electricity and gas meters were marked as 3s simply because my evaluator didn't know how to assess them, not for any perceived fault. They didn't even take a picture of my fuse box or electricity meter so who knows if they even bothered to look at it. Since I paid for a building survey I expected a little better. Plus the report was full of generic faults for older houses, and very little time was spent actually describing the property.
