Services
We offer the chance to have reptiles brought into the school for the children to hold, touch and learn information regarding the animals. Book the show for a whole day so there is time for each class or just book an hour for a single class. My 9-year-old son always wanted to keep snakes and the sign outside the shop attracted my attention. On entering the shop I found a Lady who I later found out to be Helen, who guided a total novice, me, through all the trials and problems in keeping snakes, what I would need, types of snakes etc. Following on from that visit I was able to place a deposit on two corn snakes, vivarium, and all the other equipment that my son would need.

The place had a lot of accessories however some of the reptiles are kept incorrectly. They had a small boa constrictor which was very dehydrated and their Crested gecko just had a load of mealworms for food. Cresties need a powder complete diet to get the correct nutrients, mealworms will not be enough and could cause metabolic bone disease. I hope I just went in on a bad day but will not be buying pets from there.

The people here are very friendly polite and extremely helpful. The lady was very kind to my grandson and she was able to answer all of his questions about budgies (he has ADHD and ASD and believe me when I say that he had loads of questions lol!!!) I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a pet. They also have a large selection of foods, toys and other necessities for pets of all kinds.

Used these twice now. Won't be bitten a 3rd time. The quality of there inverts is shocking. The last one I brought was so dehydrated it drank from my finger, another died 48 hrs after buying. When I told the shop, I got told well we had had it for weeks and it was ok, it must be something you did. Lies as they ordered it in for me, and I collected within 48hrs.
I have 20 years exp in keeping inverts, do not use these they have no idea how to look after them, and what's worse, they don't seam to care.

This shop has been here as long as I can remember and I have been visiting it for that long. They sell absolutely everything you could possibly need for your pet, no matter how exotic it is. They also sell a wide range of animals. From giant land snails and tortoises to kittens and birds. The biggest problem with this place is that it's too small so if a lot of customer's go in at once it takes ages to get served. Apart from that small inconvenience I've had no problems with this place. Have bought animal feed from here for years. Never a problem with it.
