Godswell Park
Godswell Park is the first standalone general nursing home solely for older people in England out of the 18,000 registered with the CQC to achieve a score of outstanding in all five inspection areas. What difference does it make when a nursing home has been rated outstanding in all five inspection areas by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)?

The difference is having complete peace of mind. It is also having complete confidence. You know you or your loved ones are staying in a place where every aspect of care is, quite simply, outstanding. For some, the idea of moving into a care home is full of worrying feelings.
Services
The care home provides a complete range of accommodation catering for people over the age of 65, whatever their level of nursing needs, subject to a pre-admission assessment undertaken by our nursing manager. Whilst we may be able to accept residents with a diagnosis of dementia, we regret that we will not be able to care for residents whose prime need for care is dementia-related.
Every effort is made to ensure that people are completely happy with their decision to move into Godswell Park, and from the home's perspective, that we are the right home with the right equipment to meet their needs. We not only encourage prospective residents to visit Godswell Park for a look around, but also to join us for lunch prior to making a decision.
Care is planned with regard to current research and good practice guidelines. Staff will begin to plan your care from the moment you decide Godswell Park is for you.

Information gathered during your visit to us and during the assessment will provide the foundations, whilst other details gathered directly, or indirectly, over the following few days, will all contribute to staff ensuring that your care plan is completely personalised and individual. The concept of our care is based upon proven nursing models.
At Godswell Park, we place the rights and welfare of our residents at the forefront of our philosophy of care. We seek to advance these rights in all aspects of the services and of the environment we provide. We also actively encourage our residents to exercise their rights and our Residents' Charter of Rights forms the cornerstone of our care policy.
At Godswell Park, we want to assist each resident to achieve his or her potential capacity, i.e. physical, emotional, intellectual and social, in all aspects of their lives. All residents entrusted to our care at Godswell Park will be afforded the dignity and self respect that is their right. At Godswell Park we recognise it is essential that residents are allowed to exercise the right of choice within the overall setting of community living.

Looks like a 5 star hotel. Very comfortable. Not sure the chocolate cake is home made though. Tastes like a packet mix to me
