If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Cairngorms, look no further. Coig Na Shee is one of the best accommodations we have stayed at! Clean and big bedrooms, lovely and accommodating hosts and a beautiful location. Not to mention the breakfasts are superb. We preferred to stay not in the touristy/quite busy Aviemore, Newtonmore is far better as a base with everything within easy reach in a car. Marion and Graeme are lovely hosts with excellent recommendations. We will definitely be back again!

Lovely guest house in a late Victorian villa on elevated spot on edge of Newtonmore. Well hosted by the owners who run a clean and organised space. We were in what seemed like a recently refreshed twin room, comfy beds and good shower. Spacious breakfast room with rotating daily specials as well as the main menu - all to be booked the night before - we had blueberry pancakes & bacon one day and poached eggs & avocado the day after. Very tasty. Basket of OS maps to peruse and borrow for the day. Would definitely go back.

Very comfortable guest house with lovely hosts. The double I stayed in was comfortable and had everything you’d expect. No desk but space to make coffees etc. Great bed and pillows. Good breakfasts with some less usual offerings (smashed avo on sourdough / kippers), plus the usual suspects (cereal, fruit etc). It’s perched on the edge of Newtonmore in beautiful grounds. Newtonmore is a lovely place to explore the area from and has some stunning walks around it. It’s a few miles from Kingussie, another charming village. There are a few food options in the village and you’re able to eat them

Beautiful cozy B&B. We were only able to stay one night but it was very comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious, fresh and healthy. My partner said that was the most delicious scrambled eggs he has ever had! The owner was very friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!!

What a Gem
Fantastic throughout, great hosts, comfortable and clean and an excellent range of choice at breakfast. We stayed in the Larches room overlooking the front lawn which is bright and airy with a very large bay window to admire the view over a cuppa or a wee dram. Loads of hot water for a relaxing bath or invigorating shower. We will definitely be back next time we are in the central highlands.

Top choice in Newtonmore. One of the best in Scotland!
In every of our (itinerant) trips we found some very special places, where everything was like we expected to be… and even more!
Coig na Shee is one of them, and the proof that you can receive the warm welcome of a cozy B&B even in a bigger Guest House.
This magnificent 1903 highland lodge is surrounded by a big garden with wonderful trees, and red squirrels!
Everything here is very well maintained, and the House is truly tastefully decorated, with love and great attention to details.
Our room (The Firs) was one of the biggest and more
