Where to start the bottom bracket was in a right mess I mean a new bike frame damage that bad. I got told to take it to Biketyke and see Paul he wasn't sure he could help with how bad it was. Anyway he took the bike and two days later it was fix absolutely a brilliant job done and very cheap anyone with a bike to go to Biketyke excellent quality of work very experience and very good price cheapest around. Thank you for mending my bike.

Absolutely fantastic, helped me decide which bike I'm most suited to given I'm 65, not ridden a bike for many many years. They went through the differences in the bikes, in simple terms no jargon unlike some shops we have been in.
Brilliant that they encourage a test ride on as many as you like. They even pick you up when you fall off 😆.
We are about an hour away but we'll worth the trip. If you can't see what you want just ask and they will do their very best.
No hard sale go away think about it. Unlike others where we have felt under pressure to buy their choice of bike not necessarily

Very helpful and friendly service by bike experts and enthusiasts. In recent months, I've take a young family member's bike to BikeTyke twice for various minor adjustments. This weekend my decades of going nowhere near a bike clearly showed through. Assisting with a simple puncture repair turned into a nightmare, with my subsequent attempts to help untangle the chain resulting in spectacular failure. Absolutely fantastic service, rang at last minute and they squeezed me in to set my mountain bike gears up. 2 lovely lads who went above and beyond for me, talking me through every step of what they we're doing. Lovely to see some local lads doing a great job and not trying to rob you for it. They even sorted my daughters bike too while we we're there. Skys the limit for you boys. Called this shop as soon as they opened and asked them if they could fit a tubeless tyre on my bike for me, I already had the tyre so it just needed fitting. I explicitly said I needed it doing the same day which is why I was ringing first to check availability. They told me they would be able to do it the same day "especially if I took the wheel off the bike". So I did, and I took my wheel and new tyre to the shop. When I got there, the same person that spoke to me on the phone told me that because it is such a small job to do, they didn't know when it could be done. I pointed out that they said

I've only used Biketyke twice, needing parts for different bikes. Both times Irvin offered me used items as an alternative, from his store of recycled and perfectly usable parts. The service was excellent, the team are friendly and helpful, and i would highly recommend for new or used parts. They are very popular, the shop was full to the brim, and there is no snobbery around what you ride. Great place, thanks guys :-)

Excellent service. Extremely friendly. Very fair prices. Nothing has been too much trouble in all my visits to the shop both building my bike and setting up my daughters bike.
