We are a community bike facility and shop, promoting an inclusive approach to cycling. We are in a truly special location, with the lovely Trans-Pennine Trail passing right by our door; This wonderful route for cyclists, walkers and horse riders passes through the Pennines, along rivers, and through some of the most historic towns across the north of England.
We have a large client base of locals and tourists, and often find ourselves doing running repairs for cyclists who are passing through and see us from the Trail. Not only do we sell bikes and equipment, but we have a fantastic workshop where we carry out repairs, run maintenance classes and work on our donated bikes, thus saving them from landfill.

Did you know we also have electric bikes, trikes, tandems, child carriers (from baby to toddler) as well as Inclusion bikes for the disabled. The Trans-Pennine trail is very flat and runs right past our door, so it's ideal for all abilities and suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters too.
At Cycle Penistone C.I.C we aim to provide a professional and friendly service at a reasonable cost to encourage people to get out and experience the trails whilst staying healthy. Whether it is just a check up after your bike has been stood over winter or a full strip down and service, we can do it.
Visit our talented staff members in store for a one to one meeting to discuss your bike needs, budget and details. One of our team will hunt down the required parts for you at the best possible prices and build you a unique bike. We will find the perfect frame, components and colour scheme to fit your requirements and personal taste.

THANK YOU! Superb service from Chris, I had terrible luck when my rear mech exploded on top of Woodhead Pass at the weekend in horrific weather while trying to complete the Trans Pennine Trail. After getting off the hill and single-speeding my bike, my friend pushed me to this shop. Cold wet and feeling very second hand and, thinking our trip was… over. There were no 11 speed parts on the shelf due to the current shortages, but Chris managed to fashion an excellent repair using a second hand 10 speed mech and a worn chain retrieved from the bin! Not only that, the Cafe next door was shut

Brilliant service by Elliot and the Team , above and beyond would be an understatement, super clear and detailed communication over a two week period before I met him via email .
I was unsure what bike I needed to replace my old stumpjumper with , Elliot gave me lots of practical and most importantly honest advice . I became snow blind I looked at that many bikes !
My ideas and needs were took onboard and listen to clearly , I was even allowed to test ride . After trying a handful of bikes over the last few weeks off other people (and being disappointed) , the one Elliot suggested was perfect
