The Car Care Centre was founded in Barnstaple in 1985 by two local mechanics who had many years of experience in the trade. We now boast some of the busiest workshops in the area and have been so successful that we have expanded to two branches in Barnstaple and South Molton. Our aim is to give value for money and the highest standards of service to all our customers and if you don't agree then we want to hear from you - e-mail us here.
These prices are for an average 4-cylinder family car. For vehicles that have semi-synthetic or synthetic oils or platinum-base plugs fitted, extra costs will apply. Our stocks are constantly changing - as are our prices - so we can not guarantee all published sizes and prices. Please call to confirm. For every voucher presented we donate 1 to our chosen children's charities - North Devon Children's Hospice and Amigos International - for every voucher presented from our local newspaper advertising.
We offer a warranty on our work and the components we fit. The following items are covered under our guarantee system for the periods shown unless stated otherwise on your invoice (whichever occurs first). However, these guarantees are guidelines only and may vary. You will be advised of this at the time of fitting.
Barnstaple branch was the first of our branches and opened in 1985. When we started, there was just one service bay but business grew rapidly and now we have five fully-equipped bays to handle the volume of work. The workshops are open six days a week to provide the very best in car care.

My car had gone into limp mode. Left it with them. Called me an hour later to say it was fixed. Arrived to collect it. I was given an explanation of the problem and a quote for the work required to fix it more permanently. I went to pay for the the work they had done that day and was told it was only about 10 minutes work and payment was not required. How refreshing to find a garage like this in this day and age👍

Just took my car in for a MOT, asked on the phone when I booked it if they could repair it if it failed the answer was yes, Well it failed and they could not repair it, they gave me some excuse. I used to use this garage quite alot a few years ago for servicing and repairing my old Rover at that time they were excellent and nothing was to much trouble, now by the sounds of it everything seems to be to much trouble.

Amazing service by Dale. I am on holiday and had problem with my car. Dale went for a drive with me, diagnosed the problem, advised me how to rectify and checked to ensure there was not a simple solution. Due to my travels they were unable to fix but assured me of my ability to get home. He even offered to speak to my local garage to advise them of the problem. He did not charge for this service. Honest, efficient and I have absolutely no worries in recommending this garage to any fellow traveller who are worried about going to an unknown garage. I have pleasure in writing this review so rare!
