Cold called my elderly 80 year old sister in law and cajoled her into home phone for £9.99 a month plus call charges. Then failed to set up direct debit. Resulting in increasingly threatening phone calls from company. Despite numerous requests for bill to home address nothing came. In and cancelled and then paperwork arrived with lots of extra charges and a £149 termination charge. Reported to Ofcom. Outrageous company picking on old and vulnerable people who are not tech savvy. Shame in you

We had the same experience as those below.. Note that Ofcom are investigating them (trading as Guaranteed Telecom) and sister company Met Technologies (Met Plus Telecom) from 20 November 2019 for alleged slamming activity (mis-selling). Dreadful, unethical, blaming, shouty unprofessional 'service' (IMO). Apparently employing all number of dodgy tactics to extort money and exploit the elderly and vulnerable like my mother. Targeting the vulnerable into changing telecom providers without any consideration for informed consent. No sense of responsibility whatsoever.
OFCOM, here I come - following a formal GDPR request to find out exactly how they targeted and reeled my mother in, as she sure as hell would not seek out another telecom provider herself.
