Neil Stewart established Ashwell Car Care back in 1998 from a workshop in his home village of Ashwell. His local success led to the establishment of Royston Vehicle Services in 2003, when he moved his workshop to Gower Road in Royston.

I recently had my MOT completed and found everyone at Royston Vehicle Services extremely efficient and friendly. All issues were promptly communicated and solved quickly (including getting a replacement tyre in) and I had my car back later the same day. I then needed a bulb replacing a few weeks’ later over the weekend and the staff again could not have been more helpful and were able to sort it out immediately. I will definitely be using this garage again and would highly recommend them.

Friendly, reliable, honest and fairly priced - what more can you say? It is hard to find a garage where you feel you are getting an honest review of what is wrong, even if it turns out to be only minor as in my case. There was an electrical fault in my car which was thought to be down to a pump. A new pump was ordered and I was quoted for the replacement of it, but when that turned out not to be the issue, I was only charged for the diagnostic and repair. I was kept fully up to date throughout. Thanks so much as always Neil & co!

Our car got stuck in a trench, so we called Royston Vehicle Services. All the team members we spoke to were incredibly helpful. They were quickly able to confirm they could come tow our car and arrived within 20 minutes. The team were reassuring, positive and efficient - particularly refreshing after our earlier phone calls to other companies who were dismissive or couldn't help for hours. We take my husband's car to RVS ever since we moved to Royston. My car usually was taken to a different garage close to my workplace. When that garage discovered that there is an issue with my ignition switch they tried a couple of things before admitted they have never dealt with this before and I had to pay extra for the electrician. So this was the point when I took my car as well to RVS. They have been amazing. They really did check the car from top to bottom. I got a full service and they called at each step when they found something to clarify the cost of repairs. I took my car in Monday

We were in trouble with our car just after Christmas and all the garages we contacted were closed but when we telephoned Royston vehicle services they were prepared to open their garage and help us. We were so grateful and they were so helpful and understanding
