We work closely with our clients and offer a friendly, professional service from design to delivery. All of our cakes are individually hand-crafted to the highest standard to ensure that your centrepiece will wow your guests. Booking a cake with us starts with a free tasting session and complimentary consultation, during which we run through potential designs.
At Cakes Sussex, we offer a very personal service and understand that only great planning makes a great event, so we are there with you every step of the way. Once you have decided on your venue, we will spend time with you to plan your wedding day, your seating, level of staffing and any other aspects of your wedding day in which you would like us to assist.
We specialise in animation characters, 3D modeling and in creating beautiful, elegant and stylish celebration cakes and cupcakes - whatever the celebration, we can deliver! We've made a huge variety of celebration cakes - from a high-heeled shoes cake to a large 3D watch cake. In fact, we specialise in 3D cakes and modelling.

At short notice, Rose made the patisserie and birthday cake for a surprise party for my mother’s 91st birthday. The quality of the cakes was superb and my mother was completely overwhelmed - it made for a lovely, memorable celebration after almost 2 years of not being able to see her grandchildren. Amazing taste, stunning design and the most lovely people!
We had planned a Baptism for our Son, and 3 months prior to the date, decided we would get married at the same time. We found Cakes Sussex online and got in touch to see if they could assist.
We were invited to come and taste some of the gorgeous flavours, they were all sublime which made it so tricky to narrow down to three for our three tiered cake! Rose was so welcoming, you could not meet a lovelier person. We chose our flavours and talked about the different colours and ideas we had. Rose was incredible and took all of our wishes

Rose made a two tier half naked Raspberry and White Chocolate Birthday Cake, it was absolutely delicious and so many guests commented on how gorgeous it was and needless to say not much left by the end of the… night .Thank you for all your expert advice at the initial consultation, I didn't really know what I wanted but it was perfect.

I came across the shop by chance and was very glad I did. I was looking for a 60th birthday cake with a cricket theme. Nothing was too much trouble and the cake was made in a very reasonable time. I could not… decide fruit cake or sponge, so I had both. The cake and decorations were absolutely brilliant. If you are looking for a bespoke cake, look no further. Thank you for your excellent service. I shall be back later in the year for my daughters 18th birthday.
