Our location, out of the bustle of the town, keeps our overheads lower, enabling us to fulfil our ultimate commitment to our customers: providing the best quality meat at affordable prices. It also means there is plenty of parking available right outside! Don't worry if you can't get to the shop though - we also provide a free delivery service to Braintree and the surrounding areas.

Bangers and mash or toad in the hole, Yum my favourites! There are endless ways to use sausages, chop them up and throw in with vegetables, add some chorizo for that little extra zing and bake in the oven for a Mediterranean delight! From traditional pork and apple to the more adventurous Welsh Dragon or Moroccan Lamb, we have a sausage variety to tempt everyone.

A breakfast favourite and an old classic, both great with eggs and the latter with the occasional pineapple slice! If you like sausages too, try our popular "Pigs in blankets". Treat your partner to a luxury breakfast in bed with real style! Bacon, poached egg with hollandaise sauce and maybe add a couple of Chipolatas on the side for good measure!

Chicken is in the top three most consumed meats and offers great versatility being often used in anything from Roasts to chicken soup. A favourite in curries and pies e.g. Chicken and Mushroom pie - Yum! It is very affordable and ideal if you are looking to consume less fat/calories but with the same protein content.
