Our acol properties are totally refurbished individual houses/buildings, principally in the north of England. The properties are ideal for investors seeking an attractive and secure rental income stream. St. David is a property development and investment group. We were established in 1992 in Hong Kong to provide investors with overseas property opportunities.
In 1995 we set up a UK acquisition/development office and our own in-house property management operation. Since 1997 we have been developing and marketing our own residential properties in London and elsewhere in the country. Our headquarters are now in the UK, although the majority of our clients are based overseas principally in Hong Kong and south east Asia.

I am pleased to say we have achieved that and have some great people who are committed to serving our clients. My duties these days primarily involve project acquisitions and client relations and of course keeping an eye on things and ensuring everything runs smoothly.' Our acol by St David properties cater for the co-living/HMO (Houses in Multiple Occupation) sector. The ongoing housing shortage in the UK has created unprecedented demand for accommodation in this sector, particularly from young people. With the limited number of new homes being built there is little likelihood of the housing shortage being resolved in the foreseeable future.
There is an ongoing shortage of housing in the UK, with only 150,000 houses per year currently being built. The country needs in excess of 250,000 built every year. This has resulted in a growing demand for smaller sized accommodation. With the high cost of buying and renting a property, many people are prepared to sacrifice space for convenience, quality and value.
Private syndicates are an ideal structure for investors to pool their funds and participate in larger scale projects which may be out of reach for them as individuals. Whilst the type of structure may vary according to the location and nature of the project, the benefits of using a private syndicate make them equally appealing to large and small investors.
We established our in-house UK property management operation in 1997. Our view was that if we were to establish long term, mutually beneficial relationships with our clients we had to ensure their properties were professionally managed. This meant providing an efficient and cost-effective management service with the focus on minimizing expenditure and maximizing rental income.
