I thought about working for a subcontractor who is very young, very inexperienced and easily manipulated. Dennis distribution apply these techniques to try and make drivers tip and load on break. Even though these are fridge loads this IS against the law. When a driver agrees to put his/ her truck on a bay for loading / unloading the driver , by doing so, takes responsibility for that action. Which is why most companies that trucks go to - except stores where driver MUST be present - do NOT allow drivers to take breaks on site. Vicarious liability!
