Every coat I have has pockets full of things: I hear shells rattling about with bits of plastic when I pull one on to face the school run, I fiddle with acorn cups while I'm waiting for a flat white in my local cafe; I scrunch up bits of lichen and tangled sea-string while I'm trying to find my gloves.
I am and always have been a bit of a collector: not of high value, status-ridden things that you have to be careful with. Just little, curious, quirky things that are everywhere in everybody's everyday life. I just like to pick them up, look at them and put them in my pocket. Then I like to make them into jewellery later.

Where I live and work constantly inspires me and I can't help translating the colours, shapes and textures that I see around Cornwall into my recycled jewellery collections. I want to make lovely jewellery that lasts without depleting the Earth's resources or causing suffering of workers, for example mining stones or metal.
Fingers crossed we've got through the worst of the pandemic and things might start opening up a bit this summer. They're could be a few exhibitions and fairs coming up later this year which we're in the process of tentatively organising. I will put them up on here assoon as they're confirmed.
And I'm continuing to exhibit one-off pieces online, on here; as well as regular 'live' catch ups with new work on instagram and facebook, so I will keep you posted.

I love working with shops and galleries to supply them wholesale with my recycled jewellery collections. I've just set up a private wholesale group on Facebook if you fancy joining it here: sarahdrewwholesale. I also thought we could maybe talk about problems facing retail on there; share things we've heard about to help each other; what makers and designers can do to help; and basically have a chat.

Sarah Drew is a true artist and one who inspires eco-friendly fashion. I ordered a ring from her website and she made sure it was perfect before sending it to me. She's also a lovely person to chat to! I am extremely happy with my ring and will be ordering more jewellery from her in the future. Once the ring was ready she dispatched it ASAP and it arrived very quickly. Thank you so much Sarah!

Sarah's jewellery is absolutely gorgeous. I first bought some earrings in a shop and as soon as I found out the name of the maker I had a look at Sarah's website and fair to say I've probably got half her collection now! Everything is really lovingly made and unique, my personal faves are pebble earrings, ring and necklace, her bangles and my gorgeous boulder opal ring. I have so many lovely pieces now I don't know which to pick to wear! Sarah is also really easy to deal with on specific pieces and keen to make sure everything is just right.
